FAQs

Q: Will my dog actually use it on the first try?
A: Most dogs start licking within seconds of smelling the treat inside. Start with their favourite: curd or peanut butter works best. Some dogs take 1–2 sessions to get used to the rotating ball.

Q: How long does it keep my dog calm?
A: Expect 15–30 minutes of focused engagement per session depending on how much treat you fill and how fast your dog licks.

Q: Is it safe for my dog to use daily?
A: Absolutely. The bowl is made from food-grade ABS, BPA-free materials and is 100% safe for daily use.

Q: Will it slide on my marble floor?
A: Place a silicone mat or kitchen mat underneath for extra grip on marble and tile floors. Works perfectly with a mat below.

Q: What treats work best?
A: Curd, bone broth, chicken broth and unsalted peanut butter work best. Avoid anything with xylitol, onion or garlic.

Q: How do I clean it?
A: Pull the ball out, rinse both parts under tap water: done in 30 seconds. Fully dishwasher safe too.

Q: Is it suitable for puppies too?
A: Yes. It works for puppies as long as they are weaned and eating soft food.

Q: How much treat should I fill?
A: Fill below the max line, about 2–3 tablespoons is enough for a full session. Do not overfill or the lid won't click shut properly.

    Actually Slowed Them Down

My dogs normally finished a bowl in under a minute. With the feeder ball they're nudging kibble around the living room for almost 15 minutes. Huge difference

Worth every penny

The quality of this bowl is very good, it has a nice solid, sturdy weight to it and feels very well made. I gave it to my dogs as soon as it arrived, and they clearly loved it! It’s a great way to keep them entertained, help with boredom, and let them slowly enjoy their yogurt treats. I’d recommend using a slightly thinner yogurt so it’s easier for them to lick and enjoy.

My dogs LOVE their Lick Bowls! Keeps them busy for at least a half an hour and then they take a nap. This is definitely great for my 2 high energy pitties who need to get their energy out.

Dog Enrichment Activity

Reviewed on 25 May 2026

Works great, the top part was a bit difficult to remove at first, but the more I do it the easier it gets. Same goes for my dog's enjoyment of the product - he's a smart dog, so the first time he used it he was confused by the purpose and kind of lost interest, but when I put whipped cream (a fave treat of his) inside, he didn't really care that it was weird to keep licking the rolling ball over and over.

Licking lasts about 10 minutes for large dogs

Reviewed on 13 June 2026

I liked the concept of this bowl, but it doesn’t keep my dog occupied for as long as I had expected. I used this on my 9 year-old, 55 pound Goldendoodle. There are three fill lines. I filled it to the middle mark with chicken broth. My dog did enjoy licking it, but it only lasted 6 minutes until all the broth was gone and then he flipped it over to try to get more out. Maybe next time I will try freezing the broth first and then topping it off with a little wet broth to aid in defrosting. The rubber cover is a little difficult to remove, but I guess this is a good thing, so that it does not come apart easily for my dog. The silicon is also verrrry thick and durable, so my puppy cannot chew off pieces of the bowl. I also like that there is no rubbery odor from the bowl.I liked that the white ball in the middle does spin well and the broth travels well on the ball. The broth does not spill anywhere when he is licking it.My dog did not tip it over immediately the first time he used it, but I think if I gave this toy to him every day, he would figure that out. This will be a fun toy for occasional use to reward or entertain my dog.

Blue is very Happy with this product 😀

Super simple but amazing cognitive toy for my pup. A great size, easy to clean and simple logic. My only desire is it had a way to suction to the floor. Blue is thrilled ☺️ would definitely recommend to anyone with a pup of their own. Great for anxiety and bored pets 💞

Sturdy Enrichment Bowl That Keeps My Dog Interested

Reviewed on 14 June 2026

This is a well-made and sturdy little boredom bowl. I like that it is different from a regular slow feeder because it has the rolling ball feature, which makes it a little more interactive for dogs. It works well for things like bone broth, yogurt, soft food, or other lickable treats.Only one of my dogs really seems interested in it, but she does like using it and it keeps her entertained for a bit. I think this would be especially helpful for a dog who needs a slower way to enjoy treats, or for a dog who needs something calming and engaging. It could also be useful after surgery or during times when you need to encourage a dog to eat or drink something soft or liquid-based.It feels solid and not flimsy, which I appreciate because some pet products feel cheap right away. This one feels like it should hold up well. It may not be something every dog is obsessed with, but for the dog who enjoys licking and working for treats, it is a good enrichment option.

THE toy my dog can’t live without now

Reviewed on 2 June 2026

Ok, so 5 star review and I’ve had this less than a day, but hear me out!! I’ve got a 17 month old Belgian Malinois named Havoc. Need I say more? I usually do find it games and snuffle mats with treats which he loves and wears him out a bit, but I kept seeing this product on IG and figured why not add something new? It’s a bit smaller than I would have liked, but we’re going on a very solid 40 mins of licking so far. My plan was to watch a movie while he busied himself but I ended up just watching him and silently cheering myself on for finally finding something that lasts more than 5 min of engagement lol. I mixed up a small bit of plain Greek yogurt and peanut butter with some water and froze it. Maybe don’t freeze it cause the ball didn’t move at first🙂. Trial and error, folks. Thats what having a dog is. Anyway, with some warm water that softened my mixture up, he’s going strong, determined to get the last bit of flavor out and hydrating at the same time. Little nips at the silicone itself, but with a little guidance he stopped. The frustration and determination all mixed into this toy is worth it to me and I can see his smart little brain just going. I know it won’t last forever (I’ll just get more lol) but I’m more than happy with it so far, and I’d say he is too.Pricing is fair, and there’s no suction cups on the bottom but I just put it on my carpet so it doesn’t slide. He’s not that big, maybe 55lbs, but he’s a mal. A force to be reckoned with and I have found the toy that might just do him in. At least for tonight.

Would be a 5 but…..

Reviewed on 19 March 2026

Took a while to come but my girl loves it I would give it 5 stars but can’t due to the fact that it does take a long time to come and after just one use with yogurt and pumpkin puree the blue rubber was stained so beware it does stain easily. I do also agree with previous reviews this is a product that you should supervise your dog with as my girl can get her teeth on the ball and pull it thankfully I was watching her or she would have pulled it right out. Overall if you’re looking for something to occupy your dog while you supervise this is a great option. The rubber is very sturdy and this is very easy to use. I use it on a carpet and have no issues with her pushing it across the carpet at all and on the hard floor it doesn’t appear it will slip.
