Shipping Policy
Free delivery across India
Every order ships free, to every serviceable PIN code in India, with no minimum order value. There is no charge for Cash on Delivery either.
When your order leaves
- Orders placed before 8 pm are packed the same day and collected by the courier the next day.
- Orders placed after 8 pm are packed the next day and collected the day after.
How long it takes
- Metro cities and most of Karnataka: 1 to 3 working days after pickup.
- The rest of India: 2 to 5 working days.
- Remote, hilly and North-East addresses: up to 7 working days.
The checkout shows the expected delivery date for your PIN code before you pay. The estimate is honest, not padded: it is what the courier tells us for your area.
Tracking
The moment the parcel is collected we send the tracking link by email, and on WhatsApp if you kept the WhatsApp tick at checkout. You can also enter your order number on the Track your order page any time.
Our courier partners
Parcels travel with Delhivery and, for some PIN codes, Shiprocket's partner couriers. They receive only what they need to deliver: your name, address and phone number.
If a parcel is delayed or lost
If the tracking has not moved for 3 working days, write to hello@happywhileaway.com with your order number. We chase the courier for you, and if a parcel is lost we send a replacement or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.
Changing the address
Before the parcel leaves, reply to the confirmation message or write to us and we change it. Once it is with the courier the address cannot be changed, but we can ask for it to come back and send it again.
