Every order helps the street dogs near us
Every street has its dogs: the one who walks you to the corner, the one asleep outside the shop. Many go hungry, get hurt on the roads at night, or live with wounds nobody treats. With every order, we help feed them, treat them and keep them safe.

Where the money goes
Straight from our books, updated by themselves. Each ₹10 and each 10% share counts once its order is delivered and kept; a gift counts the moment it arrives.
Our first rounds are coming up
The fund fills as orders are delivered and kept, so its first numbers show here soon, with every rupee we spend. Follow along for the first rounds, bills and all.

Any amount, straight into the fund: never a sale, never ours. It joins the numbers above within minutes, and we email you a thank-you.
Four steps, all in the open
You add ₹10 at checkout
A small box in the order summary adds ₹10 for street dogs, as its own line. It's ticked for you; untick it and nothing is added.
We add 10% of our profit
On every order, yours included: 10% of what the order earns us, never of what you pay, once it's delivered and kept.
The fund buys the care
Food, medicine, reflective radium collars so drivers see the dogs at night, and a vet for the ones who get hurt.
We show you what we did
Every round goes on Instagram with its bills, and the numbers on this page update by themselves.
Every ₹10 adds up
Your ₹10 joins every other order's, and our 10%. Together, they pay for care like this.

A meal
Food for a street dog who would otherwise sleep hungry, on the rounds we make near us.

A reflective collar
A radium collar shines in the headlights, so a driver sees the dog in the dark. A few ₹10s buy one.

A dose of medicine
Deworming, tick care, a wound cleaned and dressed, and a vet when a dog is badly hurt.
Every rupee, in the open
Every rupee recorded
Each ₹10 and each 10% share is written against its order in our books.
Every bill kept
Food, medicine, collars, the vet: every rupee we spend has a bill, and the bills go up with the work.
Only for the dogs
The fund pays for nothing else: not our ads, not our salaries, not our running costs.
Numbers that update themselves
The totals on this page come straight from our books. Nobody types them in.
Plainly put
Our charity is our own fund for the street dogs, run by our team: not a registered charity or an NGO. Every rupee in and out is shown on this page.
Follow the work on Instagram
Every round goes up on @happywhileaway: the dogs we fed, the collars we tied, the visits to the vet, and the bills that paid for them.

Questions, answered
Is the ₹10 optional?
Always. It's ticked for you; untick it and nothing is added. Your order, its price and its delivery stay exactly the same either way.
Does it change what I pay?
Only by that ₹10, shown as its own line in your order: "Charity for street dogs". It's never part of a product's price, and we never count it as a sale.
What if I return or cancel my order?
Your ₹10 comes back to you with the refund, and a returned or cancelled order gives no 10% share. With cash on delivery, nothing is collected if the parcel never reaches you.
How do you work out the 10%?
On the profit, never on what you pay: what an order brings in, less what its products and boxes cost us, the courier, the payment fee and any referral reward on it. 10% of what's left goes to the fund once the order is delivered and kept. An order that makes no profit gives no share.
How do you choose the dogs?
We start close to home: the street dogs around us, and the ones neighbours and feeders tell us about. The hungry and the hurt come first. Know a dog who needs help? Write to hello@happywhileaway.com.
Can I give more?
Thank you! Give any amount from ₹10 on this page, by Razorpay or a UPI QR, or tap "Give more" above the box at checkout. It all goes straight into the fund.
Is this a registered charity?
No, and we'd rather say so plainly. Our charity is our own fund for the street dogs, run by our team: not a registered charity or an NGO, so there's no tax receipt (80G). What we promise is that every rupee in and out is shown on this page, with the bills on Instagram.
Where can I see what you did?
On @happywhileaway: the rounds, the dogs and the bills. The totals on this page update by themselves from our books.
